First, Endüstri Medya identifies enterprises that have a ‘plan to invest in production technologies’ in their agenda by way of its publication activities conducted over the course of the year. After that, it organizes boutique Summits in line with the unique needs of each industry. This minimizes the probability of visitors who are not relevant to the industry and allows exhibitors to maximize the time they spend on relevant visitors. With this system, the Robot Investments and Industry 4.0 Applications Summit, organized for the fifth time this year hosted many business connections once again. The organization serves as a guide, every year, for companies who would like to automate and digitalize their manufacturing processes and it was visited by 6,411 persons in 2018, while this number reached 7,064 persons this year.
THE SUMMITS SAW GREAT INTEREST IN PANEL DISCUSSIONS
Robotic solutions in the automotive, whiteware, food, drinks, pharmacy, packaging and fast-moving consumer goods industries were addressed in the panel discussions held under scope of the summits.
All the applications regarding each industry and sectoral experiences were discussed in the panel discussions, which were attended by speakers who are experts in their area. The audience taking part in the panel discussions had the chance to ask questions to speakers on various matters. While the panel discussions drew a lot of attention, the industrial applications and the insights and experiences shared by the companies served, in a way, as a digital roadmap for every industry.
LOCAL AND FOREIGN MANUFACTURERS CAME TOGETHER IN THIS SUMMIT
Robot Investments and Industry 4.0 Applications Summit and Exhibition brought local and foreign manufacturers together. Robot procurement agents of factories and robot producer companies attending from Turkey came together and made mutual negotiations for procurement under scope of B2B Export Summit, which was held within the framework of the organization. Many new business connections were built during the negotiations, which took place with the participation of delegated persons and decision-makers of major factories that manufacture cars, whiteware, construction machinery, tractors, tanks and automobile-truck engines coming from Russia, Egypt, Iran, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Ukraine.
DISTRIBUTION OF VISITORS
Non-sectoral visitor profile has been minimized this year in Robot Investments Summit and Industry 4.0 Applications Summit, which bring together the industry professionals and companies who would like to make investment and which is a unique event in its field with its different concept. Regarding the visitor profile, it was observed that 50 percent of the people visiting the Summits were persons who directly influenced and determined the investment decisions in their companies.
